Tree planting program is a manifestation with all of us in preserving the heritage of the landscape while maintaining the harmony of nature for future generations. As of 30 April 2013, the State of Perak successfully grow by about 10.9 million trees under the "26 Million Tree Planting Campaign: One Citizen One Tree" which was released in conjunction with Earth Day on April 22, 2010 Perak Forestry Department is actively involved and successfully planted 1.5 million trees in Mangrove tree Planting Programme and Species Suitable National Coastal since 2005. This effort will also assist the Government of Perak to plant more trees in order to create a natural environment clean and healthy.
On May 9, 2013, the Perak State Government has gazetted the Hulu Perak district government land with an area of 18,866 hectares of the PFE with the name Forest Amanjaya. Gazette is not only to demonstrate their support and commitment of the Perak State Government in implementing the Central Forest Spine (CFS), but also to support long-term conservation of national initiatives such as the National Tiger Action Plan, the National Physical Plan and National Biodiversity Policy. The project was originally started by the Natural Resources and Environment.
Amanjaya Tree Planting Program: Future Carbon Stocking And Cleaner Environment In A Forest Biodiversed was organized for shouting efforts made by the Perak State Government to preserve, restore and enhance the environment and ecosystem Amanjaya Forest Reserve which is also located within the Central Forest Spine project (CFS). In fact, this effort is one way to show the importance of the role of forests as a carbon sink Amanjaya Save big in ensuring a balance of carbon cycle in the country. In addition, the program as a platform to encourage foreign investors to support reforestation programs and increase the carbon content in Forest Amanjaya.
The program was inaugurated by His Highness the Raja Muda of Perak, Raja Dr Nazrin Shah, son of Sultan Azlan Shah Muhibbuddin and planting of trees to chengal million in 'One Million Tree Planting Campaign' Perak for 2013. His Royal Highness Tuanku Zara Salim also whether the planting of trees in the program followed by the Chief Minister of Perak and his wife, dignitaries, schoolchildren and other invited guests. There are a total of 502 different species of trees have been planted on the occasion. In addition to marking the success of the Perak Forestry Department in implementing the "One Million Tree Planting Campaign" Silver State, tree planting, this is the beginning of "2 Million Tree Planting Campaign" which is the second phase of the previous campaign.
