Forest offense

According to the National Forestry Act 1984 (Amendment 1993)

* The maximum fine of RM 500,000 and imprisonment of not less than 1 year and not more than 20 years.
Section 15 - Taking Forest from Forest SimpananKekal or state land without a valid license Section 40 - Transfer of Forest without Pass Transfer of Land alienated, TOL, Mine and Reserve.
Section 86 - Falsifying or damage, or has a device for the purpose of fraud, marks on trees and timber and change the boundary

* A fine of a maximum of RM 50,000 and / or jailed a maximum of 5 years
(Includes offenses such as occupation or illegal activities in the Permanent Forest Reserve; Transferring forest is not at the place and time specified; obtain or collect any forest produce including cane, fruits, herbs, minerals and waste or dispose of any waste material; prohibition burns and prevent officers from performing their duties, or refuse to cooperate).

As in Section 32, 66, 67, 68, 69, 81 (1) (b), 81 (1) (c), 82 (1), 84, 85, 87, 92, 96, 97, 98 & 100

* A fine of a maximum of RM 10,000 and / or jailed a maximum of 3 years
Offenses including entering the Permanent Forest Reserve; use of forest roads, graze cattle; allow cattle to graze. Search for, collect or remove any forest produce or minerals; clearing or plowing the land with agricultural or other purposes; Use of toxic or explosive materials for the purpose of catching fish or setting traps or trapping)
