
Virgin Jungle Forest Reserved
Virgin Forest Reserve Forest (VJR) was established in the 1950s. The establishment aims to ensure some of the virgin forest remains protected and to describe the characteristics and types of forest in Peninsular Malaysia with a uniquely well known for teaching, research and extension.
To ensure the achievement of the objectives of its establishment, the Area-existing VJRs should be maintained and preserved through the implementation of management systems optimally.
Perak Darul Ridzuan VJRs total area of ± 6,699 hectares covering a wide range of forest types have been established for the purpose completely.
